Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who also appears on TV. She became popular with her roles on the show drama 'Rectify in addition to the sci-fi series "Timeless". A native of Gulf Breeze, Florida, she first made an acting appearance as a guest actress in the soap opera "All My Children'. The show won her the "Soap Opera Digest Award" for the Outstanding Female newcomer. The years following she was mostly in role as a guest. Her character as The Dr. Erin Jameson on the show "Hawthorne" has earned her acclaim. She slowly grew a large number of fans thanks to her beautiful look and extraordinary acting talents. In the year she turned twenty years old, she began her film debut by playing a role in the film 'Campfire Stones. In addition, she has appeared in 'This Means War, "Jekyll," and Chasing Mavericks.' Her role in the movie "Beautiful Now" she was a finalist for the highly coveted "Madrid International Film Festival Award". She played the role of Lucy Preston, a history professor on the science fiction television series "Timeless".
